Safety

Kingdom 3D Printing advises a combination of ventilation and appropriate filtration when 3d printing. Some filaments, such as ABS, are known to release hazardous compounds such as VOC's when extruded and not all adverse health effects may yet be known. I've been buying filament for a few years now from various sources. Kingdom 3d is not the cheapest, but they are the most reliable in Queensland. Quality filament from a local reseller, diligently delivered.

Full of moisture

I noticed that the filament I used started to soak up moisture, so I was looking forward to get over my stringing problems by getting new filament. I'm deeply disappointed that this filament performed from the start even worse than the one obviously too long exposed to QLD's humid conditions. I got another spool of esun filament, I can only hope that its less crappy.

Hi Lenny, thank you for ordering filament from Kingom 3d. I'm sorry that you had a poor experience with eSun filament. Stringing can be caused by many different factors including hardware issues, slicer settings and the filament. We are more than happy to work with you to try and figure out the issue and of cause would replace any faulty spool of filament. PLA's tendency to string does increase if it has absorbed some moisture, but this usually is still not an issue for most calibrated printers which is why drying is not a requirement for PLA.
